Sugar Rush Cake Designs, was founded in 2011 by Gayrielle Harper.

Gayrielle is a Barbadian Pastry Chef, who started her love for pastry at a young age at home in the kitchen. As her passion grew, she studied Culinary Arts, then proceeded to gain experience and sharpen her skills. She worked in patisseries, local hotels, and large scale catering companies, where they regularly supplied and catered for large events, private functions for affluent families and business tycoons.

Sugar Rush Cake Designs has been selected to create cakes and cater for celebrity weddings, such as John Yarde, Lil Rick, and many other private destination weddings, local hotel special events and celebratory occasions for businesses, the company has also been featured on more than one occasion in the newspapers, and was selected to create a cake for the winners of the "Forever I Do" contest.

The company believes the quality and freshness of ingredients, and a true ardent love and passion for creativity in pastry, is the optimum foundation for great dessert. With this in mind, the company has grown significantly throughout the years, as a respected and widely known business, as they are perpetually driven to learn, and improve, as they strongly believe, a job is incomplete, until every client's day has been made a little sweeter.
