(For weddings, 2 months in advanced) if the timeframe is not met, the order may have to be simplified, changed or possibly incur an additional RUSH/OVERTIME FEE charge.

However, please be sure to call and check in the same day you're arranging to make payment, to first ensure the date is still available.

Kindly note our operating hours, as a fee of $25 will apply after hours.

Final quotations are given a maximum of 4 months prior to the event date, and will expiry after this time period, if your event or occasion for any reason may have to be postponed, you will have to make an inquiry for a new quotation. Our suppliers' costs do change frequently, over long periods of time, which in turn will affect our costings, hence why quotations will have an expiration time frame.

Cancellations or Postponements

Please note, once a deposit is made, it is non-refundable. If for any reason you may need to cancel or postpone an event, sufficient notice must be given in advance, before décor or the production of the order has commenced, once this is done, store credit can be given, to which you will have an indefinite amount of time to use this. Store credit can also be transferred  to other orders, or persons as well.

However, if you choose to cancel with very little notice, and your cake/s, have been baked/ made and/ or decorated, acceptance of collection will proceed as agreed upon. Same for decor as well, if it has already been made in advance, that is not an aspect we can undo, and charges will still apply or be deducted from the store credit for this aspect.

Policies Relating to Orders

Please note, all products will have a shelf life of no longer than 2 days, and therefore should be consumed within 2 days. Outside of this time frame we are not responsible for your orders. If you have opted to order a cake 2 or more days prior to consumption, we cannot be held responsible for any issues encountered. If for any reason your order must be returned, it must be done within 2 days of collection. On return, we will consider all reported concerns, to determine where the initial problem may have occurred. If the company is determined liable for any product, replacement of the product will be available. Recompense and store credit is not an available option offered. Please note the quantity and the reported issue, of the product returned will also be taken into consideration to determine the requisite replacement (i e. if 1/4 of the product is returned, only a 1/4 of the product will be replaced. If there is any issue pertaining to taste, and not design, the product will be replaced but not with the original design and decor). Should the client be found liable, the company will not be offering any replacement. Upon collection, you are allowed to inspect your cake thoroughly, should you have any issues pertaining to design, please report at that point, so any issues can be rectified there and then. Once you have collected, inspected and accepted an order, we will not be offering any replacement, recompense or store credit, should you have any issues with design after that point.

We are also not responsible for any damages that may occur to your product once collected, or once delivered safely. Please be sure to follow our tips for transporting, storage and display options. Replacement, recompense or store credit will not be offered under these circumstances. Should you wish any damages to be repaired, please contact us immediately, once the damages are not irreparable, we will do our utmost best to assist. Repairs will incur fees.

Storage of Products

Please note, we keep all of our products refrigerated, and we ask you do the same and only remove from the fridge, when you're ready to serve, unless stored in a fully functioning A.C. room( for fondant cakes only, being used the same day of collection). However, we do not refrigerate same day wedding fondant cakes, which are usually displayed for longer periods, to avoid sweating, as this will be an inevitable effect from refrigeration for fondant cakes, unless you have ordered a day or more in advance to the date of use, then refrigeration must occur. All products must be refrigerated on the same day of collection. Refrigeration must occur otherwise the product's quality and shelf life will not be guaranteed. Our products do not contain preservatives, and are made with fresh ingredients, such as eggs, butter, milk and dairy products. It should not be stored in hot or warm areas, in direct sunlight or close to ovens and any other areas generally hot. Once refrigerated please be sure to remove, any strong odor products (seasonings, cut onions and garlic)or raw meats and other items that may cause your order to be contaminated or absorb these elements, from the refrigerator.

For display of orders, at events, an A.C. room is always a preferred choice for all cakes, as our climate is extremely warm and can result in changes of the presented cake, if displayed for long hours, in an unsavoury atmosphere. Fondant cakes will hold up better to warmth, for shorter time periods, but not to rainfall, as moisture in the air, will cling to fondant and begin to break it down, as fondant is made of mainly icing sugar. Please note, we therefore are not responsible for climate changes, that can affect cakes, or if the display location is not an optimum or suitable location for the cake, such as direct sun, or extreme heat.

Slicing & Sharing

To maximize servings we recommend to cut cakes into approximately 2"x2" rectangular slices, for all shapes and sizes. Please remove all decorations from the cake prior to cutting. Decorations and cakes, will have support, such as skewers, dowels, toothpicks, floral wires etc, to ensure they do not fall off the cake. Failure to fully remove them may result in pieces becoming detached and severed into the cake, upon slicing, thus breaking off into the cake. Please monitor young children, with all decorations, and avoid smashing cakes into faces or any other part of the body

Transporting Cakes

Products cannot be transported on the seat of any vehicle, but must be transported on a flat and evenly leveled surface, such as the floor or the trunk. Failure to transport any order in this manner, may result in damages, which the company will not be liable for. Please be sure to transport orders in a careful manner, taking caution on the roads, and driving at a slow speed, at all times. Please also keep your A.C. on at all times during transporting. Place your cake as close as possible to the vent. The front passenger floor area is always best. Please also ensure the floor area is clean, to avoid any contamination.
